His vision was materialized by establishing Bhavan’s Bhimavaram Kendra and by starting Bhavan's Vidyashram in 1983. The popularity of Vidyashram in Bhimavaram prompted him to setup another Bhavan's school in Tadepalligudem in 1985.
Sri K. Dharma Rao was a great institution builder. He gave an educational and Cultural thrust to the organisation of Rice Millers. He initiated and supported a number of cultural programmes in the district. He was a man with vision who saw that schools started by him quickly developed. Given and created by God, are auspicious days, he used to say and did not wait for starting any new initiative or programme. His futuristic vision, dynamism, love for children and his pragmatism with great public relation put Bhavan a strong foothold in Bhimavaram and in West Godavari.
